We started Full Swing Land & Tree Care five years ago with a clear goal: to provide tree services that are based on knowledge, not guesswork. Our work is led by Kate Snyder, a forestry-trained arborist who grew up around land and tree work and wanted a career that combined physical outdoor work with helping people care for their property.
Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry and an Associate’s degree in Arboriculture. That education shapes how we approach every job. Not every tree needs to be removed, and not every issue requires the same solution. We take time to explain tree health, safety concerns, and maintenance options so property owners understand what is happening on their land before work begins. In many cases, we act as a consultant first and a service provider second.
We serve homeowners and camp owners throughout Saranac Lake, Lake Clear, Paul Smiths, Rainbow Lake, Onchiota, Vermontville, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Bloomingdale, Gabriels, Harrietstown, and Upper Saranac Lake. Our work also includes involvement with the Village Improvement Society, reflecting our commitment to the local community.

Many trees can be removed safely from the ground, avoiding unnecessary climbing costs. We offer free estimates on all services and a 5% veterans discount as part of our commitment to accessible property care.
